Tualupetu Restaurant and Bar
With a wide range of cocktails to choose from as well as a selection of local beer and international wine - Grab a cool drink from the bar and relax on the deck by the pool. It's also a great place to watch the sunset every evening and take advantage of our happy hour, daily from 4-6pm.
The Aga Reef Resort Spa
Enjoy a therapeutic Samoan 'Fofo' - A traditional form of massage performed by our masseuse using lightly scented coconut oil. Bookings are essential and can be made at reception.
Swimming Spots
We have two swimming pools to cool down in: The infinity pool located on the main deck by the restaurant and the sunset pool located at the end of Meti's Island. The third and possibly most popular swimming spot is the sheltered Rock Pool also accessible near the end of Meti's Island
To Get You Moving...
Snorkeling
From the sheltered tropical aquarium that is Lupe's Lagoon, to the deeper waters of the wider reef - Our guests always rave about the snorkeling we have right at our door step. Parrot fish, Puffer fish, Lion fish, Octopus, Nudibranch, Clown fish, Angel fish, Clams and of course Turtles are just a few of the commonly seen species on our reef. Various types of colorful coral provide an ideal habitat for the small reef fish which inhabit the lagoon and out on the wider reef it is not uncommon to see larger Snappers, Trevally and even Spotted Eagle Rays and reef Sharks.
Kayaks & SUP's
We have a number of kayaks, stand up paddleboards and life jackets available for use by our in house guests. It's a great way to explore the lagoon and nearby coast line and you might just get to see our two resident turtles
Bikes
Did you know that we are only 3km's from the picture perfect Lalomanu beach? Why not hire a bike for the day and take a picnic lunch down to the beach. Don't worry if biking is not your thing - We also have complimentary shuttle transfers to and from the beach.
For the more adventurous who want to get further off the beaten track, we also have a number of mountain bikes available for hire. These can be arranged with reception.
Casting
While Lupe's Lagoon is our marine reserve area, the ocean facing side of Meti's Island offers anglers the chance to catch some of the impressive Bluefin Trevally, Giant Trevally, Long Nose Emperors and other game species that come in from the deep to feed over the reef. Guests are welcome to bring their own fishing rods and lures to try for that once in a lifetime land based fish!
To Get You Involved...
Local School Visits
Many of our amazing guest love to get involved in the local community and we like to play our part by arranging visits and free transfers for those who wish to bring school supplies and give a little bit of thier time to the schools in the area which are in need.
Coral Reef Restoration Project
In 2009 Samoa was hit by a powerful tsunami which devistated the southern coast of Upolu. Many of the reefs were badly affected by this event and the global rise in sea temperatures has put a handbrake on the natural recovery of the reef. Fortunatly, the coral in Lupe's Lagoon has been thriving and with a little extra help from our team along with our guest, we are working to accelerate the recovery of the wider reef. Helping out with this project is a great way to learn more about the reef and potentially help Samoa for generations to come.
